Qoot Terms of Use

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Qoot. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

2. Nutrition and Health Information

Qoot provides meal planning, nutrition estimates, grocery tools, health tracking, and AI-assisted suggestions for informational purposes. Qoot does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare advice.

3. Estimates and AI Features

Calories, macros, grocery prices, product data, AI outputs, health insights, and scanned-document results may be estimated or incomplete. You should review important information before relying on it.

4. User Content and Community

You are responsible for content you post or upload. Do not post illegal, harmful, misleading, abusive, hateful, infringing, private, or sexually explicit content.

5. Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse Qoot, interfere with its systems, scrape data, attempt unauthorized access, or bypass security.
• Do not use Qoot to harass others, spread misinformation, or upload content you do not have rights to use.
• Do not reverse engineer, copy, resell, or commercially exploit Qoot except as allowed by law or written permission.

6. Subscriptions and Paid Features

If Qoot offers paid features or subscriptions in the app, purchases are handled by Apple App Store billing unless another method is clearly permitted by applicable store rules.

7. Third-Party Services

Qoot may integrate with third-party services such as Apple Health, Sign in with Apple, Supabase, Firebase, AI providers, public food databases, and external links.

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account from Qoot Settings. Deletion removes the account and associated user data unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or operational integrity.

9. Intellectual Property

Qoot, its brand, software, design, and content are owned by Qoot or its licensors. You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant Qoot a license to host, process, display, and use that content as needed to provide and improve the app.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Qoot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as Qoot changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
